A Tiny Miracles Are Everywhere story.
A few years after my grandmother passed, I was having one of those days where grief doesn’t knock—it just walks in.
I kept it together at work, but when I got in my car, the tears came fast.
I pulled over near a park, took a few deep breaths, and just sat there.
Feeling alone.
Missing her laugh, her weird advice, her way of always knowing when something was wrong.
I looked up—and saw a woman walking by wearing my grandmother’s perfume.

Not just something similar.
Exactly the same.
The scent hit me like a wave.
She walked past, then paused.
Turned. Smiled at me.
And said:
“You have her eyes.”
I must’ve looked stunned, because she added,
“I don’t know who ‘her’ is. But I felt like I was supposed to say that.”
Then she walked away.
I sat there with my mouth open.
Heart pounding. And—for the first time that day—I smiled.
